So, what is Happy Union Spice Farms?

Happy Union Spice Company began as a search to recreate one of "Pop's" favorite spice blends that was being discontinued. Pops is Chef Callison's father, and he couldn't turn his father down. Our master chef toiled until he was able to not simply mimic, but improve upon and perfect, our first spice blend: Pop's Hot Salt.

Pop's Hot Salt is a flavorful blend of spices that stars jalapeno powder, which makes this more than your average rub.

Pop's Hot Salt made it into local restaurants, and is featured on everything from seafoods and steak, to chips and popcorn. With all the inspiration, our Chef couldn't stop there!

Barbeque sauce? Sure! Why not?! Let's make it with the hottest pepper out there! When Chef's wife, Mandi, told him about the Carolina Reaper, he had to test it out. The smoky flavor of this pepper blew our minds! Our Chef toned down the spice, added his own special flair, and Dad's Told You So BBQ sauce was born! Once again, a smashing success! Even the kids love it!

But wait! Is it not hot enough for you? Chef Callison made one for the fans out there that needed more. Dad's Told You So is now available in Hellfire's Club,double the heat with all the wonderful flavor! We have since moved on to new rubs, as well. Red Head's Green Chile Rub, named after Pop's lovely wife, has the smoky flavor of New Mexican green chile powder and packs an amazing burst of flavor. From meat rubs to dips for your chips, this new spice is out of this world!
